I like it! And I think killmenow9090, that you are referring to Rob Dougan who composed Clubbed to Death which has a similar chord progression to that of the beginning of this song. And at some points it sounds like a mix of metroid prime from the Gamecub mixed with a tad of Rob Dougan and a bit of contemporary 'film' standard.
